HOMEWORK FOR FRIDAY THE 27TH

Please be on your best behavior for Mrs. Stacks when she substitutes on Friday.
I am changing the order of work from what we talked about in class. Instead of your "crab" paper being due on Friday, you will spend time in class writing it. If you want to type it then be sure to bring a computer to class.
For Friday, read p126-131, stopping at Creation Confirmation, then skip to reading about Horseshoe Crabs p136. Make sure you have a list of characteristic of these animals in your Lapbook: Lobster, Crayfish, Crabs, Fiddler Crabs, Hermit Crabs, and Horseshoe Crab. Please also find pictures for each of these animals, and label them one per page. You can use this information for your crab paper that you will write in class on Friday.
The topic is a creative dialogue between a Fiddler or plain crab, a Hermit Crab, and a Horseshoe crab. They should talk about where they live, what their differences are, and how they are similar. If you want to write a factual paper, then you will put the information in one long paragraph with a good topic sentence. The paper will be due Tues. 1-31. Level A paper 1 typed page, Level B 1 1/2 minimum. See you next Tuesday.
